On October 28, Russian government approved the abolition of export duties on aluminum alloys. The decision comes into force in 30 days, according to the decree of the Cabinet.
The decision will help "strengthen the export potential of manufacturers and maintain employment at large enterprises," the government said. Industry enterprises have previously applied for the reduction of duties.
- In addition, the government supported the reduction of import duties on ferrosicilium from 15% to 5%, but not less than $ 150 per ton.
