Da Chan Bay Terminal ushered in the new South American route ASE operated by Zim Shipping Services Co., Ltd. (ZIM), which provides a direct connection between South China and South America.

With the new monthly service, exporters from Shenzhen and the Pearl River Delta can reach Santos in 32 days, Itapoa in 34 days, and Buenos Aires in 35 days.

Brian Yung, Managing Director of DaChan Bay Terminals, said: "ZIM has always been our long-term customer and we are glad to work with them to develop ASE's logistics services to increase additional capacity and meet the needs of shippers."

ZIM is the first international freight shipping company to introduce additional capacity and routes to Argentina to meet growing demand.

The first container ship of the new ASE service departed on the morning of September 24 from Da Chan Bay to Brazil and Argentina.
